Learning English is one of the biggest challenges facing refugees and immigrants when they arrive in the United States. Our English as a Second Language program enables immigrants to develop the language and literacy skills they need to interact, engage and build opportunity for themselves and their families.

Housing Assistance

Housing is a vital step in providing stabilized living here in the United States. At Afrika Yetu, we aim to provide quality and affordable housing to help immigrants and refugees get their start. Our Housing team helps families & individuals secure stable shelter and empower them to achieve independence.

Job Search & Career Advising

Our unique career advising program pairs our enrollees with experienced advisors to bridge the gap between experienced workers and meaningful job opportunities. Together, our advisors and participants explore career options that make the best use of their interests, education and skills while empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their career path.
